At Advanced Remarketing Services, we’re proud to work with a Rhode Island Hero and Special Olympics Rhode Island Legend. His name is Frank Siembab, and he uplifts our workplace each day that he’s here. Recently, Special Olympics North America showed its appreciation for Frank as well. In an interview with Special Olympics North America, Frank discussed what it’s like working at ARS and what Special Olympics means to him.
Frank’s Story
In 2017, Frank Siembab was hired by ARS through a partnership with the James L. Maher Center. Since then, he has been a valued member of our team. In addition to working at ARS, Frank has participated in Special Olympics Rhode Island events where he has been very successful, even collecting hundreds of medals in a variety of sports. Previously, Frank was named Rhode Island Athlete of the Year and inducted into the Town of Warren Athletic Hall of Fame.
During his Special Olympics interview, Frank mentioned coworkers who mean a lot to him or that have been role models to him in the workplace, including Kelly Furtado, General Manager of ARS. The feeling is mutual, Kelly says “Frank is amazing! He has such a great personality and is always smiling. He asks about how your day is going and what we did over the weekend, as well as tell us what he has been up to. He just brings positivity, no better way to start my day than seeing Frank.”
ARS Partnership with Special Olympics
ARS is proud to be the National partner of the Special Olympics Vehicle Donation Program. Working with the organization at the national level and with local Special Olympics Programs, the funds raised through car donation gives Special Olympics athletes the chance to develop physical fitness, compete in Olympic-like sports and experience the joy of sharing their skills with others.
